We just completed construction on our beautiful hybrid log home in Post Falls Idaho with Jim and Lynette Fitzmorris of Dependable Contracting.

We feel so lucky to have found Jim Fitzmorris. Two years ago we visited Post Falls and purchased a beautiful property on a challenging lot with the hopes of building our retirement home. We weren’t quite sure just how we were going to build while living in California so we set out interviewing contractors. We chose Jim because he was the easiest to communicate with, listened to our needs and gave us solutions and recommendations to make our dream come true. He had the experience with log construction, which was a plus and quite honestly he returned phone calls! We had to take quite a leap of faith that this company would be our liaison and work with our best interests in mind throughout the entire process. I guess in the end we went with our gut and we are so glad we did!

Jim’s communication was amazing … he sent us pictures every week chronicling his progress. Whenever we had questions or concerns he was there for us. If there were problems (which there were very few) he took ownership and fixed them in a timely manner. It’s refreshing to know that there are contractors with strong work ethics and that have a pride in what they do. From our experience Jim never cut corners, which is obvious to whomever sets foot in the house. He has a very talented team working for him. They had some pretty muddy and challenging conditions to deal with but that didn’t slow things down. Jim acted as our representative and met with inspectors from the different departments, which made the whole process possible. We can honestly recommend Jim and Lynette in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a competent, knowledgeable and trustworthy general contractor.

They’re just nice people too which helps.
